Li Li has over 20 years’ experience as an immigration paralegal. A native of China, Li assists in preparing EB-5 investor petitions for Chinese investors, as well as those from other nations. She assembles the required source of funds documentation from each investor and organizes it in a coherent, compelling presentation. Li supports the attorneys in preparing the associated EB-5 affidavits and investor declarations. She also drafts immigrant visa applications, adjustment of status applications and removal of conditions petitions for EB-5 investors. Many investors who need to spend significant time outside the US ask Li for assistance in securing Re-entry Permits for themselves and their families.
In addition, Li prepares and documents temporary and permanent visa petitions including H-1B, L -1 intra-company transferees, TN (Trade NAFTA) professionals, E-2, O-1 and Employment-Based (EB) green card petitions. She monitors the expiration dates of foreign employees’ status and that of their dependents and timely initiates extension applications for them. Li also prepares temporary visa applications for employees and their dependents, and coordinates with the relevant Consulates to ensure the timely issuance of visas. Finally, Li assists employers with the I-9 (employment eligibility verification) process and compliance.
